[SDL] SDL 1.3 status ?

Sorry Mason, I'll admit that I jumped the gun a bit on that one. How many
Linux applications don't use HW acceleration these days? I wouldn't think a
huge amount... still, it's a useful option to have up your sleeve. Surprised
it isn't supported for other platforms actually...
