Unless something has changed recently, such functionality doesn't exist
in SDL 1.3.
It would certainly require SDL to use framebuffer or pbuffers in the
OpenGL renderers. This would probably be a nice feature (think blitting
on an order of magnitude faster) though not all GPUs that support OpenGL
could support this feature.
