[SDL] Stdout.txt, Stderr.txt where are they?

Hi,

I compiled 1.3 from source using the Visual C project. I'm having 
problems with some of the test programs(sound ones in particular) but 
when I went to find the stdout.txt/stderr.txt they don't seem to exist. 
Am I under the correct impression that SDL redirects console output to 
these files in the working directory? The libraries and DLL were not 
compiled using the debug option in vs2008.
