[SDL] sdl event blocked by mfc message?

Hi,

I want to use render SDL surface into a MFC widget (for video display).
Problem is that SDL event loop can NOT receive any event when MFC window
shows.
It seems the message mechanism in MFC blocks the SDL events.
I remember there was discussion about this issue but I can't find the
related information any more.
Someone knows about this?
