[SDL] SDL as a google summer of code mentoring organisation?

Is 'SDL' planning on becoming a google summer of code organisation?

Pygame(SDL in the python language) is planning on being one, but it'd
be cool if students were working on SDL projects too :)

The deadline for mentor applications is very soon
March 12: Mentoring organization application deadline (12 noon PDT/19:00 UTC).
