[SDL] ceGCC

At http://sourceforge.net/mailarchive/forum.php?thread_name=200703291652.38437.jwalt%40garni.ch&forum_name=cegcc-devel there are instructions for building SDL 1.2.11 using ceGCC.  Applying the patches to 1.2.12 appears to work except for some very confusing autoconf issues, building configure from the revised configure.in.  this breaks with

configure.in:441: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_PATH_ESD

Unfortunately, autoconf is a horrid mess to figure out when something breaks, and I have no clue how to apply aclocal.m4, or if something else is the matter.

I'd much appreciate if these changes were adapted and merged into the mainline source.
