[SDL] .NET framework? What the hell?!

Hi,
[this is becoming a little OT, sorry, I hope it doesn't drag on
for too long]
BTW Leo, your computer's date and time seems to be incorrectly set.
Next, carefully read these rather well-known articles:
(1) ESR, How To Ask Questions The Smart Way
(2) Simon Tatham, How to Report Bugs Effectively

It would help your cause better if you ask humbly and honestly. If
you have been lurking, you would have noticed that people on the
list do offer suggestions or help. Please learn to post nicely and
clearly, otherwise no one will help. Don't be shy and don't be too
proud; remember, all of us have also started from zero once upon a
time. We have done our share of blunders too.

You are posturing. In the original post, you said, "... plain old
C SDL game...", yet here you are talking about C++, Lua and C#.
There is no need to prove anything here; we are here to talk about
SDL issues.
For most of us, computer languages are just tools to be used; we
don't have religious preferences. By posting confusing statements
and withholding information, people cannot help you, and they will
rightly conclude that you are just wasting everyone's time --
which is hardly a good way to participate in a list like this.

People on the list don't care about experience -- there is no
"mine is bigger than yours" childishness on this list. As for what
they do care about, please read the two articles above, then if
you mend your ways, I'm sure people on the list will be more than
willing to help.
