[SDL] Accelerated blits available or not for me?

My guess is the old SDL version uses DirectX
as the standard GFX driver and there you get hardware
acceleration and the newer one uses GDI.

The switch to GDI as the standard driver was
needed, because the SDL DirectX driver uses DirectX 5
which gives a headache on newer Windows Versions like XP
and Vista.
