[SDL] Expanding IP addresses with SDL_net?

So far, I've been using the SDLNet_ResolveIP(IPaddress*) function to convert
IP addresses to something I can display in error messages. However, I've
noticed that it resolves all the way to hostname. I just want the IP
address, for things like IP range ban. Besides, I imagine it probably uses
extra bandwidth to resolve all the way to the hostname... What would be the
easiest (and fastest) method of resolving IP addresses?
