[SDL] Cut and Paste in SDL

Aha,
 
But what you said and what Jeremy said point out this problem:  To cut & paste a picture, you'd have to interpret the type of picture, right?  That's means making SDL_Image (and probably an extension to that) a part of the core API as well.  Maybe you could interpret a full screen shot, but I have a feeling that would suck.
 
I think it'd be great as a separate library.  Someone get on that  :)
