[SDL] New User Question

Junior,

I have had very little problems with SDL on Linux. As far as some of the what does it access I will leave that answer to someone better qualified. But for the TS SDL is indepenedent of this. I use a TS on my system (I have used both MTOUCH and ELO) and Linux will just read the TS as a mouse/pointer device. You can then use the event loop to read the location on the screen, through the SDL_MOUSEMOTION or SDL_MOUSEBUTTONDOWN(UP) events. Same thing for keyboard events. I have not used nanoX but I am currently using Fedora core (4,5,6) and I have started to use Unbutu. All seem to work well with SDL.

Walt.
