[SDL] Status of the trunk branch

Hello,

I have  a simple question about the trunk development branch. Is it
usable for the following usage :
 - Create an OpenGL display
 - Use event subsystem
    - Keyboard
    - Mouse

I need those feature on linux X11 and eventually Win32. Is it possible
to start using the unstable branch in a new project I am working on
right now ?
