[SDL] [SDL_net] Implementing Telnet?

Hello everyone!
OK, I got the GPWiki server example running:

However, I don't know how to use Telnet...  My client can connect to it 
and everything, but I can only send characters...  Is there a tutorial 
on implementing the Telnet protocol in SDL_net?  Thanks!
