Haven't found very many tutorials on that sort of 
stuff but if you are looking thing specific to 
SDL visit http://www.libsdl.org . You'll find 
tons of interesting links in the 'Articles' 
section, as well in the 'Tutorials' section. If  
you can spare the money I would recommend buying 
your self a good graphic programming book that 
will outline the most fundamental stuff, and 
later revisiting game programming.
