[SDL] State of SDL on MacOS?

I did some things in SDL/Mac (i.e. ported my game), and I can say: Graphics
work great, sound doesn't.
At least a month ago, the sound support in SDL was really crappy. But it
should be no problem to do that
with QuickTime. (as I did)
