[SDL] paragui

Library looks sweet. There is documentation, but tutorial is very small.
Where can I find more code which uses paragui? Any demos/big apps?

PS. I need to run it in Windows, too, so I spend 3h today to compile
    everything, SDL_ttf needs code changes (in 2 lines) - why?
PPS. VisualC is awful, can I use gcc to compile code for Windows?
